This recipe combines two of our favourite things! Slow cooking and our very own, gluten free, homemade sausages! We've used our Pork & Apple Sausages for this recipe but you can use any of your favourite flavours.
Takes 10mins to make and 2hrs to cook - serve with mashed spuds and steamed greens...
INGREDIENTS
- 8-10 sausages
- 1 onion , sliced
- 1 apple , cored and cut in cubes
- 1 cup stock - beef or vegetable
- 1 x 400 gram tin chopped tomatoes
- ¼ cup chutney - we used Mrs Balls Chutney
- 2 Tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp Worchestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp ground coriander
- 2 tsp allspice
- Salt & pepper to taste
METHOD

Combine all ingredients into a large casserole dish and stir together well

Cover and cook at 180°C for 2 hours - you may need to add some extra water at the end if too much has evaporated.

Serve with mashed potatoes and steamed greens.
Another option is to place all the ingredients in a slow cooker on high for 4hrs or low for 8hrs.
