Here’s a great recipe to do yourself, or if you’re really short of time then pick up a pack of our ready marinated pork strips available in store now!
INGREDIENTS
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/4 c ketchup
- 3 tbsp white vinegar
- 3 tbsp chili sauce
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- Pepper to taste
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 x 330ml lemon-lime soda
- 1kg pork fingers or pork strips
METHOD
- In a bowl, combine the first nine ingredients. Place pork in a heavy resealable plastic bag; add marinade. Seal bag and turn to coat.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Drain and discard marinade.
- Thread pork onto metal or soaked wooden skewers.
- Grill over hot heat for 12 minutes, turning once.
