The flavour of this marinade and ribs combination really comes into its own with the 3hr slow-cooking method. So delicious and a real feast to enjoy with friends and family!

INGREDIENTS

Onions x2 - sliced

Tomato Puree x 1 Tbsp

Garlic x 2-3 cloves

Ginger x 1 Tbsp

Tomato Sauce x 1 Tbsp

Oyster Sauce x 2 Tbsp

Brown Sugar x 1 Tbsp

Place ribs on bed of onions in roasting dish then combine remaining ingredients and adjust sweetness with oyster or soy sauce to your taste - this is quite a sweet mix so you may prefer it to be a little more savoury.

Coat ribs with sauce, cover roasting dish with tinfoil and place in 150C oven to cook for 2-3hrs.

Check on ribs from time-to-time and add more water if required to stop tray drying out.

Depending on how much jus is left in the tray at the end of cooking, you can either turn this into a sauce or mix up a new sauce in a small saucepan and pour this over the ribs before serving.
